Making Inspiration Reality
A few weeks ago, I posted about my Pinterest inspiration board for my spring wardrobe. Today, I want to show you one outfit that brings out and adapts what I've been loving into what I actually own.
As you probably know if you've seen my outfit posts before, I do wear a lot of black. So I decided to wear these black joggers with black sock boots for a cool-casual vibe.
Because a lot of my inspiration is coming from warmer weather photos and outfits that incorporate lighter colours, I tried to lighten my look with the top half of my outfit. The temperatures still aren't that warm where I live, so I chose to throw on a comfy wool cardigan that keeps me warm but is also a light cream shade which feels more spring to me!
As for my top, I have this ribbed mock neck crop top that I haven't been wearing enough. It's sleeveless which I think is mostly why I haven't worn it because it's harder to style when it's cold out! Since it's a muted beige-pink colour, I find that it also brings out some of the lighter tones and monochromatic outfits that I've been seeing online.
Altogether, I think this is a fun basic look that synthesizes my current climate with my warm-weather wardrobe inspiration.
