How to Style a White Tee
Sometimes styling a white t-shirt can get to be pretty mundane. But its also such a great basic to have in your wardrobe, and has unlimited styling opportunities.
To change things up a bit I opted for a denim skirt and threw on a casual trench overtop. The trench adds a bit of interest and changes it from being just a t-shirt and denim kind of look. I also think the addition of another texture (and pattern) really helps to jazz things up!
This tote bag is a really cool woven canvas-y material and while it’s patterned and textured, it still is neutral and easy to pair with plenty of outfits...
And these shoes! These shoes are such a staple for me. I didn’t really think much of it when I bought them a year and a half ago, but they ended up getting so much wear. It’s so easy to slip on and off and the beige colour means that they go with everything.
I got them at the Toms warehouse sale in Hamilton (which I would highly recommend because they were very much discounted from the original retail price). While Toms has a great program where they give a pair of shoes to someone who needs them for every pair purchased, the price tag is still a little steep (especially since I was in school at the time). Going to a warehouse sale meant that I was able to get a great quality pair of shoes from a (seemingly) good brand without breaking the bank.
What are your feelings on warehouse sales in regards to conscious fashion?
